Description

A delicious and safe frozen treat for dogs made with wholesome ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe figs (or 1/4 cup dried figs, soaked and rehydrated)
  • 1 cup plain, unsweetened Greek yogurt (substitute with coconut milk for lactose-sensitive dogs)
  • 1 tablespoon pure honey (optional, avoid for overweight dogs)
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1/4 cup water or low-sodium chicken broth
  • Ice cube trays or silicone paw-shaped molds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the figs by washing thoroughly and removing stems. Cut into quarters for blending.
  2. Combine yogurt, figs, and banana in a blender.
  3. Blend the ingredients for 30-45 seconds until smooth.
  4. Add peanut butter and honey, and blend for another 15 seconds.
  5. Pour the mixture into molds and tap to remove air bubbles.
  6. Serve by freezing until solid, then pop out and enjoy with your pup!

Notes

For dogs with dietary restrictions, consider using coconut milk or substituting ingredients like banana with cucumbers.
