Description

A simple and delicious classic meatloaf recipe that’s perfect for a comforting dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 preferred)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Dump all ingredients in a big bowl and mix well.
  3. Shape into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
  4. Smear extra ketchup on top for a glossy finish.
  5. Bake for about 60 minutes or until a thermometer reads 160°F in the center.
  6. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For best results, don’t pack the meatloaf too tightly and let it rest before slicing.
