- 1 cup light corn syrup
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper and buttering it.
- Combine the sugar, corn syrup, cream, and salt in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
- Cook the mixture over medium heat until it reaches 235-240°F (soft-ball stage).
- Add the butter and vanilla extract and stir carefully.
- Cool the mixture until it is comfortable to touch (about 110-115°F).
- Pull the candy with buttered hands for 10-15 minutes.
- Shape the candy into ropes and cut into 1-inch pieces.
