Description
An easy party appetizer that combines savory flavors and creamy texture, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chipped beef, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped (optional)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Crackers, for serving
Instructions
- Mix the Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped chipped beef, grated cheddar cheese, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Use a fork or a hand mixer to blend everything until smooth.
- Shape the Ball: Once everything is well combined, gently shape the mixture into a ball. If it gets a bit sticky, wet your hands slightly to make rolling easier.
- Chill and Coat: Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour. Before serving, roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans if you’re using them for extra flavor.
- Serve: Place the cheese ball on a platter and serve with an assortment of crackers.
Notes
You can prepare the cheese ball up to two days in advance. Let it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before serving.
