Description

An easy party appetizer that combines savory flavors and creamy texture, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chipped beef, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix the Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped chipped beef, grated cheddar cheese, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Use a fork or a hand mixer to blend everything until smooth.
  2. Shape the Ball: Once everything is well combined, gently shape the mixture into a ball. If it gets a bit sticky, wet your hands slightly to make rolling easier.
  3. Chill and Coat: Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour. Before serving, roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans if you’re using them for extra flavor.
  4. Serve: Place the cheese ball on a platter and serve with an assortment of crackers.

Notes

You can prepare the cheese ball up to two days in advance. Let it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before serving.
