Description
These Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownies combine the chewy texture of cookies with the fudgy richness of brownies, creating an irresistible treat that’s surprisingly simple to make.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (16.5 oz) refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
- 1 box (18.3 oz) fudge brownie mix
- 2 large eggs
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal. Lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- Combine the brownie mix, eggs, oil, and water in a medium bowl. Stir until just combined—about 50 strokes with a wooden spoon.
- Take the cookie dough out of the refrigerator 10 minutes before using to soften. This makes it easier to work with.
- Pour the brownie batter into your prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Break the cookie dough into small pieces and distribute them evenly over the brownie batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes. The cookie top should be golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center should come out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely in the pan for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
For a richer flavor, substitute the water with brewed coffee. Use a gluten-free brownie mix and cookie dough for dietary restrictions.
