Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and dried parsley (if using).
- Cut in the cold butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Fold in the grated cheddar cheese and fresh parsley (if using).
- Pour in the buttermilk and stir until the dough comes together.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and pat it to about 1-inch thickness.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
- Mix the melted butter with garlic powder, dried parsley, and salt, then brush over hot biscuits.
