Description

A quick and delicious meal that combines succulent shrimp and tender steak with vibrant, flavorful noodles. Perfect for busy weeknights or cozy dinners.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces noodles (egg noodles, rice noodles, or whole wheat)
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil and drain the noodles according to the package instructions. Rinse under cold water and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add shrimp and cook until opaque, about 2-3 minutes, then remove.
  5. Pour in mixed vegetables, garlic, and ginger, and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Return steak and add cooked noodles along with the sauce. Toss everything until heated through and combined. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Prep all ingredients before cooking for a smoother process. Feel free to swap out proteins and veggies based on your preference.
