Description

An effortless no-knead method for making a stunning loaf of rosemary garlic bread, perfect for busy nights and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water (about 110°F)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and instant yeast.
  2. Pour in the warm water and add the minced garlic and chopped rosemary; mix until combined.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rise at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
  4. Flour your work surface and gently transfer the dough onto it, folding it a couple of times before shaping it into a ball.
  5. Place the dough on a floured piece of parchment paper, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise for another 1-2 hours.
  6. Preheat the oven to 450°F with a Dutch oven inside for 30 minutes.
  7. Carefully place the dough in the preheated pot, cover with the lid, and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

Experiment with additional herbs or cheese for extra flavor. Store leftovers wrapped tightly at room temperature.
