Description

A warm, gooey bread filled with creamy Brie and tangy cranberry sauce, perfect for gatherings and comfort food cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large round loaf of sourdough bread
  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese (about 8 ounces)
  • 1 cup of cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/4 cup of fresh rosemary (or thyme)
  • 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted
  • A pinch of salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut a large “X” shape through the top of the sourdough loaf, keeping the bottom intact.
  3. Place the Brie cheese in the center of the cut bread and spoon the cranberry sauce over it.
  4. Sprinkle fresh rosemary (or thyme) on top.
  5. Brush melted butter over the bread and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and bake for about 20-25 minutes.
  7. Unwrap and bake for an additional 10 minutes to get a golden crust.
  8. Let it cool briefly, then serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or a touch of honey to the cranberry sauce. This bread is best enjoyed the same day.
