Description
An elegant and indulgent dish featuring tender filet mignon topped with a rich lobster cream sauce and succulent shrimp, perfect for special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 filet mignons (6–8 oz each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 oz butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup lobster stock
- 1/2 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1/2 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season filet mignons with salt and black pepper. Sear each side for about 4-5 minutes for medium-rare or until desired doneness.
- Transfer the steaks to a plate and cover loosely with foil to rest.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Pour in heavy cream and lobster stock, stirring gently to combine.
- Add chopped lobster meat and shrimp. Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and opaque. Add lemon juice to brighten the flavors.
- Slice the filet mignon, plate it, and drizzle with lobster cream sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Let the steaks rest for 5-10 minutes for best texture. Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavors.
