  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 oz butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup lobster stock
  • 1/2 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season filet mignons with salt and black pepper. Sear each side for about 4-5 minutes for medium-rare or until desired doneness.
  2. Transfer the steaks to a plate and cover loosely with foil to rest.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Pour in heavy cream and lobster stock, stirring gently to combine.
  4. Add chopped lobster meat and shrimp. Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and opaque. Add lemon juice to brighten the flavors.
  5. Slice the filet mignon, plate it, and drizzle with lobster cream sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley.
