- 1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko is recommended)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper.
- Dip each artichoke heart in olive oil, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange the coated artichoke hearts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving, and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Experiment with different spices in the breadcrumb mix for varied flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container and re-crisp in the oven.
