- 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
- 8 oz brie cheese (cut into small cubes or wedges)
- 1 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional, for garnish)
- Flour (for dusting your surface)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the thawed puff pastry to a thickness of about 1/8 inch, then cut into 3×3 inch squares.
- Place a square of puff pastry on a lined baking sheet, add a cube or wedge of brie, followed by a dollop of cranberry sauce. Optionally, add fresh thyme or rosemary.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a pocket and pinch the seams to secure. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving and enjoy!
Notes
These can be assembled a few hours in advance and stored in the fridge. They can also be frozen before baking; bake from frozen with extra time.
